Jovan Sisovic
Founder / Director
Jovan Sisovic is the founder and director of JBA Basketball. Since starting the program in 2022, he has helped grow JBA into one of the fastest-growing basketball programs in Central Maine, offering AAU teams, private training, camps, clinics, and player development opportunities for boys and girls.
Parker Sergent
Coach/Trainer
Parker has had a lot of success coaching with JBA, including winning the Grassroots League with his girls team. He is a great trainer who focuses on strong fundamentals, player confidence, and doing things the right way. Parker brings energy, patience, and motivation to every session, helping players improve while enjoying the process.
Victor Garay
Coach
Vic is a seasoned basketball coach with years of experience and a deep understanding of the game. He played the sport himself, has coached at multiple levels, and also works as an NCAA referee. Vic recently got hired as a Winslow varsity assistant coach, adding even more high-level experience to the JBA staff. He brings strong knowledge, high energy, and a real passion for helping players improve, and the kids love working with him.
Tony Staffiere
Coach
Tony was a huge addition to JBA during the Spring 2026 season, coaching one of our 6th grade boys teams. Having a Thomas College associate head coach involved with our program was a big step forward for JBA and an incredible opportunity for our players. Tony brings a high level of experience, knowledge, and leadership, and we were excited for our kids to learn from someone with his coaching background. His presence helped raise the standard of our program and gave players a chance to be coached by someone who understands the game at a very high level.
CJ McKenna
Coach
CJ McKenna is a passionate coach who brings energy, discipline, and a strong basketball mind to the JBA staff. Players respond well to his coaching style because he holds them accountable while also pushing them to grow. CJ was recently hired as the Waterville varsity head coach, and we are excited to have him as part of our program. He is great at what he does and brings valuable leadership, structure, and experience to player development.
Payton Mitchell
Coach
Payton Mitchell was an outstanding high school player and a 1,000-point scorer who now continues his basketball career at Thomas College. Spring 2026 was his first season coaching with JBA, where he coached a high school team and quickly earned the respect of his players. Payton is passionate, knowledgeable, and has a great mind for the game. He brings strong playing experience, energy, and a player-first approach to the JBA staff.
Lance Crowell
Coach
Lance is a current Thomas College basketball player who brings strong playing experience and energy to the JBA staff. He coached one of our high school girls teams and did a great job connecting with the players, pushing them to compete, and helping them grow. Lance brings a player’s perspective to coaching, understands what it takes to play at the next level, and is a valuable part of our program.
Tiffany Morse
Coach
This spring will be Tiffany’s third season coaching with JBA, and she has done a phenomenal job over the past couple of seasons. She has led multiple JBA girls teams, and the players responded incredibly well to her coaching. Under her guidance, the girls won a ton of games and multiple championships and tournaments. We’re all excited to have her back with JBA for another strong season.
Emily Hagerty
Coach
Emily Hagerty played basketball at Thomas College and brings great experience, energy, and leadership to the JBA staff. She coached one of our 7th/8th grade girls teams, and the players absolutely loved working with her. Emily does a great job connecting with athletes, building confidence, and creating a positive team environment while still holding players accountable. Her playing background and ability to relate to players make her a valuable part of the JBA program.
Craig Garoffalo
Coach
Coach Garoffalo has over 10 years of experience coaching youth basketball. He is great with kids, a strong motivator, and excels at pushing players to improve while keeping the game fun and engaging. He is currently coaching a young 3rd/4th grade team at Maranacook, where he continues to develop young athletes with his energetic and encouraging coaching style.
Cam Joseph
Coach
Coach Cam joined JBA for his first season last fall, and both kids and parents were really impressed with his coaching style. The players responded well to him, learned a lot, and enjoyed being part of the strong, competitive environment he built. Cam brings a great mix of teaching, energy, and connection with the kids, and it showed every week throughout the season.
Josh Morse
Coach
Josh Morse brings energy, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to creating a great experience for his players. In the spring season, he coached alongside Parker Sergent with one of our girls teams, helping lead them to a Grassroots League championship. Josh has also coached one of our younger 3rd/4th grade girls teams, where his focus on fundamentals, patience, and organization helped players build confidence and enjoy the game.
